Lake Cuyamaca & Julian Engagement Session

Ohhhh boy Kelly & Chris. I mean just LOOK AT EM’. They’re fricken cute and fun. We decided to venture over to Julian for their engagement session for some gorgeous Fall colors & vibes that San Diego can’t provide for us and it was my first time there. Julian (more specifically Lake Cuyamaca) reminds me so much of the PNW and felt a little bit like home (happiness vibes). We originally wanted to put this session on the books ASAP to avoid colder temperatures but we got out of the car and HAY that temperature in Julian had dropped.

Lake Cuyamaca gave us some gorgeous scenery and beautiful open fields. Getting to shoot engagement sessions with couples before discussing wedding details is my favorite - especially when couples are as rad as these two and hanging with them fostered an immediate friendship.
